Trevor Messersmith is a New York-based photographer and graphic designer.
He started the company 80east Design in 2002 to consolidate his interests in design, photography, and digital media. Now with over fifteen years’ experience in the field of graphic design, Trevor provides creative direction to a wide variety of online and print projects.
Trevor earned a B.A. from Bard College in Photography where he studied with Stephen Shore, Larry Fink, and Anne Turyn. He also studied art and design at the Aegean Center for the Fine Arts, Massachusetts College of Art, Rhode Island School of Design and Harvard University.
Trevor's artwork has been exhibited at the Los Angeles Center for Digital Art, the California Museum of Photography, the Brooklyn Waterfront Artists Coalition, the 1650 Gallery (Los Angeles), the Vermont Photography Workplace Gallery (Middlebury, VT), the Brooklyn Art Library, GLAAD's annual juried OUTAuction (2004-10), artslant.com, ovationtv.com, and in other online galleries.
